Adriel’s training department offers classes in a wide range of topics. Our trainers have multiple years experience working with children and families within social service settings. They have first-hand knowledge of foster parenting, blended families, and offer expertise in program development.

Individuals or groups can participate in scheduled trainings. We can also create customized training curriculums to suit the specific needs and interests of case workers, foster parents, teachers, aides, juvenile justice workers, or mental health professionals. CEU’s are available for Licensed Social Workers and Professional Counselors through the Ohio Social Work Board .

As a Certified Sponsor Agency of the Teaching Family Association, Adriel can provide training in the Teaching Family Model. This method provides a practical, teachable, structure to working with youth, families, consumers, and employees. Initially developed around working with socially troubled youth, it has evolved and is vastly adaptable in all situations to teach effective communication. Its common sense approach, concepts, and built in reinforcement empowers people to communicate, develop and teach skills, and give feedback in a new way.
