Inside Out
Featuring Nancy and Beth Thomas
June 12-13, 2008
Toledo Riverfront Hotel
Toledo, OH
Day One: Beth Thomas
Beth Thomas, RN, once labeled the Child of Rage by HBO, is
now a phenomenal woman. Beth knows what it’s like to be an angry,
defiant, destructive child. She once was one. She has unique insights
into the mind of a challenging child with Attachment Disorder. Her life
of survival and victory brings hope and understanding to parents and
professionals working to heal a wounded child. She shares her experience
and wisdom with love and laughter. Come learn what parenting and therapy
techniques softened her once cold heart. Her story has touched the
hearts of those committed to making a difference in the lives of
children.
Beth gives a deeper understanding of Reactive
Attachment Disorder from the inside out. She shares effective tools to
make a difference with challenging children. Most of all she gives hope
in a hopeless exhausting situation, empowering parents with a positive
vision for their child’s future.
This presentation will highlight:

•Healing techniques that work
•What the future holds for kids with treatment
Day
Two: Nancy Thomas
Since 1985, Nancy Thomas has worked as a therapeutic
parenting specialist with children in intensive attachment therapy with
eight of the leading attachment therapists, psychiatrists, and
psychologists in the country. Nancy specializes in bonding and
conscience development. The children Nancy and her husband have worked
with have had symptoms of being ritualistically abused, borderline
psychotic, abusive to animals, mood disorders, reactive attachment
disorders, Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, bipolar disorder
and some with a history of homicide and arson. Ninety
percent of the children placed in their care have killed. Despite these
complex issues, the Thomas’ have an eighty-five percent success rate
with these high-risk children, one of the highest in the country. Please
join Adriel in welcoming Beth and Nancy for two days of refreshing and
