Be The One to Create Brighter Futures
In order to increase support for some of the most vulnerable members of our community, Adriel is launching its Be the One to Create Brighter Futures Campaign—a fundraising initiative dedicated to empowering youth in foster care (ages 14–17) and young adults (ages 18–20) in the Bridges program as they navigate the transition to adulthood.
With more than 128 years of experience, Adriel has remained steadfast in its mission to serve vulnerable children and young adults through compassionate and comprehensive foster care and family services. Despite these ongoing efforts, many youth in foster care still face serious barriers to education, transportation, and housing—fundamental elements that shape their path to stability, self-sufficiency, and hope.
To meet these critical needs, we’re proud to introduce the Bright Futures Fund, which will provide targeted financial support in the following key areas:
Learning & Education
Youth will gain access to high school equivalency programs, vocational training, post-secondary education, and professional certifications. The fund will also support essential learning tools—such as personal computers—to ensure academic and career success.
Transportation
Reliable mobility is essential for work, school, and community engagement. This fund helps cover costs for driver’s education, obtaining a license, and providing assistance toward securing a reliable vehicle—such as support with down payments, registration fees, or insurance—empowering youth to take an important step toward independence.
Housing Stability
The fund can help with rental assistance, application fees, deposits, and basic furnishings—providing a pathway to safe, stable living environments for young adults as they work toward independent living.
By offering practical and financial support in these life-defining areas, the Bright Futures Fund equips youth and young adults to overcome the systemic challenges they face. In doing so, this initiative strengthens educational achievement, employment opportunities, emotional wellness, and long-term stability—directly aligning with Adriel’s mission to provide quality care to children, young adults and families in the spirit of Christian love.
